I love the idea of using http://www.pimpampum.net/bookr/ to
have students create their own books by downloading their own pictures or using pictures they find http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/. What child doesn't like to write about themselves? This would be a creative way to have students journal.

I agree! I'm so excited about this application. I'm using Bookr in my class as a review of each animal kingdom. Each group of students will make a book by selecting pictures and writing facts about their animal group such as reptiles and mammals. I'm going to link each book to a glog for easy assessibility. You can also email the final product to their parents.
